Deritend Industries is one of the UK’s leading industrial maintenance, service and repair groups. With a history spanning over a century, Deritend is an engineering solutions supplier of considerable pedigree, catering for a broad spectrum of industry sectors and working with some of the largest blue chip clients in the UK.

Deritend‘s services range from the specification of core and specialist products and on site repair projects through to complete consultancy services and asset management advice. Their service provision is implemented by specialist onsite teams and technicians operating from fully-equipped workshops across the company’s national framework of locations.

Deritend supplies a huge range of services to the metal industry in particular, including emergency call out maintenance, electric motor repairs and rewinds, in addition to repairs and overhauls to pumps and gearboxes. One area of specialty is the repair and rewind of large electric motors. Deritend can provide full turn-key services, from assessing the health of a motor or generator to stripping it down, rebuilding it and re-installing it upon completion. They are also able to design and fabricate large machines specific to a client’s individual requirements.
In March 2010, Deritend undertook a major new service initiative to expand into low carbon technologies – a key target for the future, especially in light of the Carbon Reduction Commitment. As well as being a staunch advocate of green working and pursuing its own environmental agenda, Deritend has launched the new service to help clients test for inefficiencies and potential points of failure.

Deritend, who have been awarded the Carbon Trust Standard in recognition of its continued commitment to efficiency, are delighted to now be a member of the British Manufacturing Plant Constructors' Association (BMPCA), and very much look forward to supporting the activities of the organisation.
